How to treat perioral dermatitis

  Western medical treatment for perioral dermatitis 1. Stop using fluoride toothpaste and fluoride-containing corticosteroids. Avoid all exogenous stimulation.  2.Tetracycline 0.25g/time, 2-4 times/d for 6 weeks; if the condition is serious, 0.25g/time, 4 times/d. Use oxytetracycline, deoxytetracycline and minocycline, which can produce the same effect. Refer to acne for dosing. Or use erythromycin. Use erythromycin ointment or clindamycin (clindamycin) ointment topically. Metronidazole is not effective for this disease.  Chinese medicine treatment for perioral dermatitis: remove dampness and strengthen the spleen, clear heat and detoxify the toxin, with the formula of Jianshu De-Dampness Tang, plus or minus Huang Lian Detoxification Tang. Inflammation is obvious plus silver flower, dry mouth plus pollen, rhizome. Local use of 10% honeysuckle decoction cold wet compress, or external use of cooling ointment.
