Causes of vomiting in children

  There are many causes of vomiting in children, including external causes such as heatstroke, virus infection, or contaminated food, etc. It may also be caused by gastrointestinal disorders and indigestion in children, and some are caused by intracranial infections or intracranial tumors, so parents should understand the root cause of vomiting in children so that targeted treatment can be given.  If a child vomits only occasionally and has a poor appetite recently, it is likely to be caused by indigestion or abnormal gastrointestinal function, so parents should prepare some easy-to-digest food intake for the child, such as millet porridge, noodle soup, etc., to prevent the child from vomiting again. If the vomiting is caused by a cold, parents should take the child’s temperature to find out if the child has a fever and choose medication under the guidance of a doctor to ensure the child’s health.  If the child vomits regularly and the frequency of vomiting is high, parents are advised to take the child to a regular children’s hospital for a timely checkup, examine the cause of the child’s vomiting in detail, and take the correct treatment according to the doctor’s diagnosis.  There are many reasons for vomiting.
