What babies eat at 8 months

Babies can eat milk, cereals and potatoes, animals, beans and common vegetables and fruits at 8 months. The roughness of the food should be increased appropriately, transitioning from puree to crumble.
1. Milk: 8-month-old babies are still mainly breastfeeding 3~4 times/day, providing 700~800ml of milk for the baby to meet the nutrients needed for the baby’s growth and development.
2. Cereals and potatoes: flour, rice, millet, sweet potatoes, potatoes, etc., can be made into porridge, rotten noodles, rice, mashed potatoes and other foods. The amount is about 3~8 spoons (30~80ml).
3. Animal and legume foods: such as egg yolk, red meat, chicken, fish, liver, tofu, etc. about 3~4 spoons (30~40ml). It is recommended to fully steam when cooking.
4. Vegetables and fruits: 8-month-old babies are recommended to common, seasonal, hypoallergenic foods, such as apples, bananas, pears, grapes, etc., the nature of the transition from juice, puree to crumbled, small pieces or fingers to further exercise the baby’s chewing and swallowing ability. The amount is about 1/3 bowl each (80~90ml).
8-month-old babies are still breast milk or formula as the main food, in addition to the need to add easy to swallow and digest, not easy to cause allergies to food. Attention should be paid to the energy density and protein content of the food. Foods rich in iron and dark-colored vegetables are preferred.
