Also known as blepharitis, mydriasis usually heals in about 1 week if treated aggressively, but the exact time frame varies from person to person. A whealsore is a localized bacterial or viral infection of the eyelid margin that forms a boil and can present with uncomfortable symptoms such as redness, swelling, heat, and pain. If the redness is diffuse in the early stages of the disease, it can subside in 3-4 days after treatment with tobramycin or acyclovir drops. If the disease worsens, the redness becomes confined, yellow pus spots appear on the surface, and an abscess is formed, an early surgical incision is needed to drain the pus, which can heal in 1 week after the pus is drained. However, in patients with weaker body resistance, the recovery time will be extended accordingly. If the patient delays the treatment or treats it improperly, it may form a subacute boil or turn into a chalazion, and the course of the disease may be extended for several months. Patients are advised to take proper rest, drink more water, avoid spicy and greasy food, and keep their eyes and face clean during treatment.
