Brain hemorrhage coma speech with tears

If a patient with a brain hemorrhage is in a coma, the patient is not conscious, so speech is not possible. The patient’s tears may be due to cerebral edema caused by cerebral hemorrhage and then conjunctival edema, which leads to tears and may not be a sign of consciousness. If the patient can speak, it cannot be called a coma. The treatment of cerebral hemorrhage is mainly blood pressure control and symptomatic treatment. Especially for comatose patients, family members should enhance care by turning and draining the back regularly and providing good care of the second stool. Prevent complications such as pulmonary infection, decubitus ulcers, venous thrombosis of both lower limbs, and urinary tract infection. If comatose patients are unable to eat on their own, they can be given nasal feeding diet.
