Generally myocardial ischemia cannot be cured by drugs, but it is completely controllable. There are many causes of myocardial ischemia, and the common cause is coronary artery disease. The degree of myocardial ischemia caused by coronary artery disease varies. If patients can clarify the lesion of coronary artery in time and give appropriate medication, it can control the occurrence of patients’ symptoms. If myocardial ischemia is caused by poor coronary artery blood supply due to systemic diseases, then focus on treating systemic diseases; or myocardial ischemia caused by congenital cardiovascular diseases, cardiac blood sensation, cardiovascular malformation later, patients will also improve myocardial ischemia after surgery or interventional treatment to correct such congenital diseases. Patients with myocardial ischemia commonly show different degrees of chest suffocation and shortness of breath. For mild myocardial ischemia, patients show chest suffocation and shortness of breath after activity, at this time, enhanced drug therapy can completely control the symptoms. If myocardial ischemia occurs, patients are advised to go to the hospital as far as possible to clarify the cause of myocardial ischemia and carry out targeted treatment. For myocardial ischemia caused by coronary artery disease, if the lesion of coronary artery is mild to moderate, the symptoms can be controlled by standard drug treatment. In case of severe coronary artery stenosis, interventional therapy or coronary artery bypass therapy should be added on top of drug therapy to improve myocardial blood supply and the symptoms will be controlled.
