Tinnitus can be divided into solid and weak cases. 1. Empirical evidence
(1) Main acupoints: local acupoints such as Hearing, Cataract, Zhongzhu, Manxi, etc. and acupoints of the Shaoyang meridian of the hands and feet are selected.
(2) Supporting points: when the external wind evil can be with Waiguan, Hegu to disperse wind and evil; liver and gallbladder fire can be with Xingmai, Qushu to clear the fire of the liver and gallbladder; phlegm and fire stagnation can be with Fenglong, Yinlingquan to resolve phlegm.

2. Deficiency syndrome
(1) Main acupoints: select local acupoints such as Auditory Palace, Cataract, Taixi, Kidney Yu, and acupoints of Foot Shaoyin Meridian.
(2) Supporting points: Spleen and stomach weakness can be combined with Qihai and Ashansanli to strengthen the spleen and enhance qi.
(3) Basic Acupuncture and Moxibustion Methods: Hearing Palace, Cataract Wind needle sensation should be preferred to the bottom of the ear or periauricular conduction is preferred, can be added moxibustion, such as Taixi, kidney Yu, Qihai, foot Sanli can be optional moxibustion.
