Panax notoginseng Lipid Liver Pill is effective in strengthening the spleen, resolving turbidity, expelling phlegm and softening hardness. It is used in cases of fatty liver and hyperlipidemia with evidence of liver depression and spleen deficiency. Sanqi Lipid Liver Pill is composed of Sanqi, Curcuma longa, Yunshanzha, Zezhi, Chrysanthemum and Lotus leaf. It is used for the treatment of phlegm-beverage (pathological product formed by the impaired metabolism of water and liquid) disease caused by spleen deficiency, symptoms include obesity, abdominal distension and nausea (lack of appetite, reduced food intake), fatigue (lack of mental energy), timidness, fat tongue, teeth marks, thin white moss, slippery pulse, etc. It is not recommended for pregnant women.
