Gui Zhi Going to Paeoniae and Addition of Fung Zi Tang, from “The Treatise on Typhoid Fever”, is an addition and subtraction variant of Gui Zhi Tang, composed of Gui Zhi, Glycyrrhiza glabra, ginger, jujube, and adenophora, which in the original text mainly treats the symptom of rapid pulse rate, chest fullness, and slight fear of cold after the misuse of downward movement by the exogenous wind-evil.
