Growing pains relief

Growing pains are recurrent intermittent lower limb pains occurring in healthy children aged 2-12 years old, mainly around the knee joint and anterior side of the calf, whose relief methods include proper rest, hot massage and supplemental nutrition. 1. Appropriate rest: When children experience growing pains, they should reduce strenuous exercise and take appropriate rest to relax their muscles without hindering their normal activities. 2. Hot compresses and massages: In the case of growing pains, localized warm compresses and massages can be used to effectively improve the discomfort caused by pain and promote local blood circulation. 3. Supplementary nutrition: children are in the growth period, should increase the rich protein and multi-vitamin food, more calcium-containing food, such as milk, eggs, fish and shrimp, fresh fruit, fresh vegetables and other nutrient-rich food. Growing pains are a normal growth phenomenon in children. Parents and children should relax their minds and avoid excessive anxiety, and they should make reasonable arrangements for children to live and work in a regular routine.
