If the patient has frequent premature atrial contractions, the condition can be cured. Many patients, even with frequent premature atrial contractions, may have functional premature contractions, such as overworking, staying up late and drinking alcohol, or having high mental stress, which can also lead to frequent premature atrial contractions. In this case, patients are advised to take oral bisoprolol or metoprolol in combination with heart stabilizing pellets for better treatment of premature atrial contractions. If necessary, patients may also be advised to take propafenone tablets or cortisone, which are relatively more potent antiarrhythmic drugs, but have more side effects. If the patient has frequent premature atrial beats due to organic lesions, it is generally difficult to cure the condition completely, for example, if it is caused by severe stenosis of the coronary vessels.
