Fall injuries are usually serious multiple injuries. If cardiac arrest occurs at the scene, CPR should be given immediately at the scene. First of all, make the patient lie down, then give chest compressions, usually after two palms overlap, use the root of the palm to press the lower part of the patient’s sternum, the frequency of compressions is 100-120 times per minute, the depth of the pressure is 5-6cm, after every 30 times of compressions, immediately give two times of artificial respiration. Before artificial respiration, immediately remove any foreign objects from the mouth, and if there is any vomitus, it should be removed. If there are dentures, they should be removed, and after the airway is opened, two artificial respirations should be given, and then return to chest compressions. The ratio of chest compressions to artificial respiration is 30:2, after 30 chest compressions, two artificial respirations should be given, and after five sets of these alternating compressions, a pause should be made to observe whether the patient’s heartbeat and respiration have recovered, and if they haven’t recovered, the above operations should be continued. In CPR at the same time, should call 120 to request medical personnel to come to the aid. If the patient’s heartbeat does not return after more than 30 minutes of on-site CPR, clinical death can be determined. It is worth noting that falls often lead to multiple injuries, including severe bleeding, tension pneumothorax, rupture of vital organs, head trauma, cardiac tamponade, etc. can lead to cardiac arrest, timely call for help, remove the cause of the disease and avoid further injury will help CPR success.
