Colonic allergy is a common functional disorder of the intestinal tract, characterized by no organic lesions in the intestinal wall, intestinal dysfunction, and a series of symptoms caused by sensitive spasm of the intestine. Some people call this disease colonic dysfunction, mucous colitis, allergic colitis, spastic colitis, allergic colonic syndrome, irritable bowel syndrome, intestinal stress syndrome, irritable bowel syndrome, etc. Allergic colitis can occur at any age, generally in young adults between 20 and 50 years old, more women than men (about 3/4 of women), and its incidence is not yet reliable at home and abroad. According to relevant data, it accounts for about 30-50% of gastrointestinal diseases in general outpatient clinics. Etiology The disease is related to mental and dietary factors. Whenever there are mood swings such as anxiety, fear, anger, depression, etc., or due to their allergic constitution, after eating foods that can cause their own allergies or eating certain foods such as eggs, shrimp, crab, etc. (allogeneic proteins), the sudden onset of colon lesions can occur suddenly, abdominal pain, intestinal tinnitus, diarrhea, pain reduction after diarrhea, large amounts of mucus in the stool, or Alternating constipation and diarrhea. A multifaceted gastrointestinal examination does not reveal organic lesions in the intestine. Symptoms Sudden onset of abdominal pain, bowel sounds, diarrhea, pain decreases after diarrhea, large amount of mucus in the stool, or alternating constipation and diarrhea. The abdominal pain is severe and often unbearable for the patient, and may be accompanied by nausea, vomiting and other symptoms. X-ray imaging shows thinning of the colonic spasm, increased speed of barium passage, and deepening of the colonic pouch. CT examination of the abdomen may also show the thinning of the colon, and if stage intestinal spasm occurs, the imaging examination may clearly show it.
