Dizziness and nausea when lying in bed

Dizziness and nausea in bed are mainly seen for the following reasons: a. If the dizziness occurs when the position changes, such as dizziness accompanied by nausea and vomiting at the moment of sitting in bed and lying down, which lasts for a very short time of a minute or so, ask the patient if there is tinnitus and hearing loss. If there is no tinnitus and hearing loss, consider benign paroxysmal positional vertigo, which can be relieved by manual reset. Secondly, if the dizziness and nausea are persistent in middle-aged and elderly patients lying on the bed, accompanied by tinnitus or diplopia and panic, ask the patient whether there are any risk factors such as hypertension and diabetes in the past, and whether the ataxic motion examination is normal. Therefore, dizziness and nausea when lying in bed are mainly seen for the above two reasons.
