Swollen lips in children with fever may be caused by food or contact allergy, trauma and other reasons.
1. Food or contact allergy: children eating allergenic food, such as seafood, mango, etc. or lip skin contact with certain allergens, such as dust mites, resulting in allergies. The symptoms of swollen lips may appear, and in severe cases, it may cause long skin rashes, laryngeal edema, fever and so on.
2. Trauma: children’s lips area hit by external forces, or in the walking, playing in the process of bumping, can lead to lip swelling, skin temperature rise. If the situation is more serious, it can also lead to fever, fatigue, poor spirit and other systemic symptoms.
Children with fever lip swelling, may also be seen in other causes, parents are advised to take their children to the hospital for consultation and treatment after clarifying the cause of the disease.
