After using a condom for so long, have you ever really cared about it?
As the saying goes, “People who are only looking for shape and don’t consider size don’t deserve to be called ‘old drivers’.” The right size may be more important than which brand of condom is better and which condom is more “exciting” to use.
From a professional point of view, in the course of daily life, choosing the right condom for the “pop sport” will not only give both partners a better experience, but also reduce the risk of unintended pregnancy, in addition to prevent the transmission of genitourinary tract diseases.
So, do you know which one is more suitable for you?
Condom specifications can be divided into four types according to the nominal width: large, medium, small and extra small, the nominal width refers to half of the circumference of the condom opening.
1, large condom: nominal width of 55 mm, perimeter of 110 mm, diameter of the opening is 35 mm.
2, medium condom: nominal width of 52 mm, perimeter of 104 mm, diameter of the opening is 33 mm.
3, small condoms: nominal width of 49 mm, perimeter of 98 mm, diameter at the opening of 31 mm.
4, extra small condom: nominal width of 48 mm, perimeter of 96 mm, diameter at the opening is 29 mm.
How to do accurate measurement and choose the right condom for you?
1, nominal width measurement: men can use a thin wire, around the middle of the penis after a full erection, and then measure the length of the wire, the resulting value is the penis circumference, divided by 2 to get the nominal width.
2, diameter measurement: diameter measurement also requires the use of a thin wire, around the middle of the penis after full erection, the measured length of the thin wire divided by 3.14, to get the diameter.
Do I need to measure the length of the condom?
Men don’t need to measure the length because the width of the condom is more important than the length. Condoms are manufactured with a large space for expansion and contraction, and as long as they can adequately wrap around the head of the penis to ensure that semen does not escape, there is generally no need to consider the length of the condom.
Condoms need to be selected according to the nominal width and diameter of the individual’s penis, if the individual can not be accurately measured, you can choose the most common medium size condoms on the market, that is, the nominal width of 52mm, and then adjust the size according to their own wearing situation.
If the use of medium condoms is the penis at the wrapped binding feeling, but no tightness, poor blood flow and other feelings, that is the right size. If there is loosening or falling off, it is recommended to buy a smaller size; if the excessive tightness and constriction affects the blood flow and even ejaculation, it is recommended to buy a larger size.
