What’s wrong with half of the headache?

Half of the headache is a headache on one side of the patient, which can be clinically caused by a variety of diseases, for example, patients with paranasal sinusitis can cause it, or it can be caused by trigeminal neuralgia or temporal neuralgia. Paranasal sinusitis is mainly given anti-inflammatory treatment, and the commonly used anti-inflammatory drugs clinically include ceftriaxone sodium, ceftazidime, and cefoperazone sulbactam. Tinidazole, ornidazole or metronidazole can also be applied for treatment. In the case of trigeminal neuralgia and temporal neuralgia, symptomatic treatment with oral carbamazepine or oxcarbazepine is the main treatment. Primary migraine is a kind of neurovascular headache, the exact cause of which is not clear. Patients usually have recurrent one-sided fluctuating headache, which may be accompanied by nausea and vomiting. In mild cases, patients are usually given oral acetaminophen, ibuprofen, and indomethacin. Ergotamine caffeine can also be applied if the patient is more symptomatic. For severe cases, zolmitriptan and sumatriptan are mainly applied for treatment.
