Is it okay to drink milk after tooth extraction?

It is perfectly fine to drink milk after tooth extraction, but it is important to note that the temperature of milk should not be too high. However, it should be noted that the temperature of milk should not be too high, because the high temperature may cause some physical temperature stimulation to the extraction wound, which simply means thermal expansion and contraction, and the higher temperature may cause the expansion of the blood vessels of the extraction wound, thus the risk of bleeding from the extraction wound. Of course, this risk does not necessarily occur, as long as you drink something hot, you will bleed, but since you can avoid it, it is better to avoid it as much as possible. In general, there is no absolute contraindication to the diet after tooth extraction, but there are some requirements on the nature of the food. We recommend eating warm, cool, soft food after tooth extraction, not too hot or too hard food. This is also to protect the extraction wound from bleeding caused by physical irritation. Generally, we recommend foods such as ice cream, egg custard, tofu, minced meat soup, rice porridge, etc., which are safe for patients to eat after tooth extraction.
