Several issues to keep in mind in the treatment of asthma patients

The current standardized asthma treatment can make most asthma patients’ symptoms under control, and some patients have poor symptom control and need to pay attention to the following issues. 1. Use the correct method Most of the current standardized asthma treatment is inhalation therapy, so the correct use of inhalation loading is the basis, so careful study of how to use the inhalation device correctly is needed. 2.Don’t let the feeling guide the medication Generally, asthma patients’ symptoms will be relieved quickly after treatment, and sometimes they feel the same as in the normal state, and some of them reduce the dosage or stop the medication by themselves. In fact, human feelings sometimes deceive people, but when the symptoms disappear, the cause of asthma is still there, and if you stop treatment, asthma will still attack, so you should also adhere to the treatment, which should usually be maintained for 3 months after the symptoms are controlled, and then see your doctor for a follow-up visit to see if you need to reduce the dosage. 3.Reasonable examination helps to judge correctly Pulmonary function test and exhaled nitric oxide measurement are important parts of asthma detection. The disappearance of symptoms but not recovery of pulmonary function cannot bring asthma under control, while the persistently high exhaled nitric oxide also indicates incomplete control of asthma. Nitric oxide measurement is especially important when reducing the dose of medication.
