Can Nasal cysts become cancerous?

Nasal cyst is a retention of cervical gland secretion due to physiologic or pathologic reasons, which is benign and non-neoplastic and will not become cancerous. Nasal cysts, also known as cervical gland cysts, are physiologic changes of the uterus, i.e., when squamous epithelium replaces columnar epithelium in the transformation zone of the uterine cervix, newborn squamous epithelium covers the opening of the cervical gland ducts, resulting in retention of glandular secretions and leading to glandular cysts. Pathologic causes are mainly chronic inflammation of the uterine cervix leading to hyperplasia and narrowing of the glandular duct openings resulting in cervical glandular cysts. Nacrine cysts are a physiological phenomenon or a manifestation of benign non-neoplastic diseases and do not become cancerous. No treatment is needed for those with no discomfort, while those with chronic cervicitis accompanied by increased secretion and odor can be treated with antibiotics such as ceftriaxone, and those with large cysts or discomfort can choose to have the cysts removed surgically.
