Do you need to fast for the five tests before blood transfusion?

The five pre-transfusion tests test for amino acid transferase indicator (ALT), hepatitis B surface antigen indicator (HBsAg), hepatitis C virus antibody indicator (anti-HCVL), human immunodeficiency virus indicator (anti-HIV), and syphilis spirochete antibody indicator (TP-Ab). Blood can be drawn for testing without fasting.

The purpose of the five pre-transfusion tests is to find out if the patient has any of these five diseases, because the viruses shown in these five indicators are infectious diseases that can be transmitted through blood, and the purpose of the tests is not only to prevent and reduce the chance of cross-infection, but also to prevent doctor-patient disputes.
