Anterior Cruciate Ligament Rehabilitation Program

  Early postoperative period: elevate the affected limb, observe blood flow, apply cold compresses for 3 days, and remove the drainage tube for 48-72h.  Second, insist on straight leg elevation exercise every day after surgery to restore muscle strength and increase joint stability.  Three, postoperative straight position brace fixation.  Remove the brace and flex the knee in bed 1 week after surgery, gradually increase the degree of knee flexion, and strive to achieve full knee flexion 8-10 weeks after surgery.  V. The brace should be worn for a total of 3 months after surgery, and weight-bearing is allowed for walking.  (1) Within 1 month after surgery, wear a brace to walk in an extended position.  (2) 1 month after surgery, the brace can be adjusted to 0-60 degrees, and the brace can be worn for weight-bearing walking.  (3) 2 months after the operation, the brace can be adjusted to 0-90 degrees, wear the brace for weight-bearing walking.  (6) 3 months after surgery, the brace can be released and there is no restriction on the degree of activity.  VII. Outpatient review after 3 months postoperatively to decide the time of not wearing the brace VIII.  The above is our routine plan for reference only and is adjusted according to the intraoperative situation with different fixation methods.
