What does fetal fl mean?

Fetal fl is the length of the fetal thigh bone on the ultrasound report card during pregnancy, also known as “femur length” refers to the length of the femur between the root of the fetal thigh and the knee, is to observe and monitor the development of the fetus, but also one of the indicators to determine the growth and development of the fetus.
The fetal femur develops differently at each gestational week and increases in length with each week of pregnancy. It is usually combined with the Biparietal Diameter (BPD), Head Circumference (HC), and Abdominal Circumference (AC) to assess whether fetal growth and development are in accordance with the week of gestation as well as to predict the weight of the fetus.
During pregnancy, if these indicators are within the normal reference range, it means that the fetus is developing normally (in accordance with the gestational week). If they are smaller than the normal reference range, it is considered that the fetus may have intrauterine developmental growth restriction, and it is necessary to combine with the relevant examinations to further clarify the cause.
During pregnancy, expectant mothers should do regular checkups to understand the growth and development of the fetus. If there is any abnormality during pregnancy, consult a doctor in time to ensure the safety of the fetus and the pregnant woman.
