Thyroid nodule dietary taboos can eat cabbage

There are no absolute dietary contraindications for patients with simple thyroid nodules. If thyroid nodules are combined with hyperthyroidism, avoid eating iodine-rich foods such as kelp and nori. Thyroid nodule patients are allowed to eat cabbage. Excessive or insufficient iodine intake can increase the prevalence of thyroid nodules. Patients with thyroid nodules who have normal thyroid function are recommended to have a “moderate iodine diet”, which consists of iodized salt and moderate intake of iodine-rich foods such as kelp and purslane. Although dietary control is beneficial to the improvement of the condition, it cannot completely cure the disease, and patients with thyroid nodules need to actively cooperate with the doctor for treatment, so as to avoid delaying the condition and causing serious consequences.
