What are the rehabilitation exercises for meniscus injury

After a meniscus injury, whether treated conservatively or surgically, rehabilitation is very important. It is usually necessary to brake the joint for about 2-4 weeks. During the braking process, you can do contraction exercises of the quadriceps muscle to prevent atrophy of the quadriceps muscle and weakness of extension and flexion. Generally, after braking, the knee joint needs to be exercised for range of motion, mainly flexion and extension exercises, to allow the joint to grind better. There are also resistance exercises for the quadriceps, etc. After about 4-6 weeks of muscle exercises, weight-bearing exercises, such as squatting and rising, can be performed as rehabilitation exercises.
