Acupuncture treatment for allergic rhinitis

With the change of human environment, more and more people suffer from allergic diseases, and allergic rhinitis is one of them. The typical symptoms of allergic rhinitis, also known as allergic rhinitis, are nasal itching, sudden or paroxysmal sneezing with continuous episodes, and a large amount of clear watery nasal discharge, which may be accompanied by olfactory disturbance. It can cause a variety of complications such as insomnia and memory loss. The disease can occur at any age and in both men and women. In recent years, the incidence of the disease has been on the rise. The cause of this disease is ultimately the patient’s constitution, and acupuncture in Chinese medicine treats this disease by adjusting the patient’s constitution and seeking the root of the disease. I used acupuncture combined with Chinese medicine to treat the patient according to the diagnosis and treatment of Chinese medicine, and the effect was remarkable. Here is a test case as follows. The patient, a 50-year-old female, complained of paroxysmal sneezing and clear water-like nasal discharge for six months, with stress urinary incontinence, itchy skin all over the body, fear of cold, swollen purple-red hands, and easy frostbite on hands and feet in winter. After 10 times of acupuncture and Chinese medicine treatment, the sneezing and runny nose disappeared, the itchy skin disappeared, and the skin was smooth. The swelling of both hands disappeared, and the skin color of both hands was normal. No recurrence since the follow-up.
