Ultrasound manifestations of mild hepatic fibrosis

The manifestations of mild hepatic fibrosis on ultrasound are enhanced echogenicity of the liver parenchyma, poorly smooth hepatic peritoneum, blunted margins, and narrowing of the hepatic veins. Liver fibrosis is a kind of liver disease, and the common clinical causes include viral hepatitis, fatty liver, alcoholic liver and autoimmune hepatitis. The manifestations of mild hepatic fibrosis are commonly seen in fatigue and weakness, loss of appetite, dyspepsia, etc. Some patients may also show bleeding or purple spots on the skin and mucous membranes. Color ultrasound is the first choice of diagnosis of liver fibrosis, economical and convenient without damage, etc. The common manifestations of liver mild fibrosis in color ultrasound: 1. Thickening of liver parenchymal echogenicity: the thickening of liver parenchymal echogenicity will be gradually aggravated with the progress of the disease. 2. Liver periosteum is not smooth: the surface of normal liver periosteum is smooth, if fibrosis occurs, the surface of the liver is granular nodules, then the periosteum is not smooth. 3. Blunted hepatic margins: the normal liver margins are sharp and smooth, while the edges of the liver nodules become sharp after liver fibrosis. 4. Narrowing of hepatic veins: the liver sinusoids become narrower after hepatic fibrosis, and hepatic reflux is reduced, and ultrasound shows that hepatic veins become narrower. If you have liver fibrosis, it is recommended to go to the hospital in time and follow the doctor’s instructions for treatment to avoid adverse consequences.
