Bone growth of teeth is caused not only by ageing, osteoporosis, improper use of teeth and failure to maintain dental hygiene, but also by gum disease and periodontal disease. The main cause is the growth of alveolar bone due to improper dental protection, poor chewing habits or inattention to brushing, and improper posture when brushing teeth. Others like diabetes and other chronic diseases that cause dental caries caused by plaque or periodontal inflammation can cause bone hyperplasia. Bone hyperplasia of teeth is also related to inflammation caused by tunnels, mainly because inflammation caused by poor maintenance of living habits and lack of attention to dental hygiene is the main cause of bone hyperplasia of teeth.
