Neo-crown antigen positivity is caused by infection with the Neo-crown virus; a cold does not cause a positive Neo-crown antigen result. Colds are usually caused by infections such as influenza viruses, parainfluenza viruses, and respiratory syncytial viruses, and patients usually experience symptoms such as fever, headache, and runny nose. A positive result for neo-crown antigen, on the other hand, is usually caused by a patient’s infection with a novel coronavirus. A cold does not cause a positive result on a novel coronavirus antigen test. If a patient has cold symptoms and also tests positive for the novel coronavirus, it may be due to infection with the novel coronavirus. Patients who simply have cold symptoms and have not been in direct or indirect contact with a patient with novel coronavirus are usually not infected with novel coronavirus. After catching a cold, one should go to the hospital for timely treatment to avoid aggravation of the condition. During the outbreak prevention and control period, one needs to be well protected by wearing a mask when going out, washing hands frequently, and gathering less.
