What are the adverse effects after chemotherapy for nasopharyngeal carcinoma?

Adverse reactions after chemotherapy for nasopharyngeal carcinoma are generally clinically classified as follows: 1) immediate reactions: anaphylactic shock, cardiac arrhythmia, pain, vascular irritation; 2) early reactions: more gastrointestinal reactions such as nausea, vomiting, allergy, abdominal pain, diarrhea; 3) recent reactions: changes in hematological system, decrease in white blood cells, decrease in platelets, even anemia, symptoms of bone marrow suppression; 4) late reactions: skin pigmentation, endocrine changes, teratogenic effects.
