What’s wrong with having a light period for a month with an IUD?

Low menstrual flow in one month with IUD may be related to endocrine disorders, the effect of birth control ring, pregnancy and other reasons.
1. Endocrine disorders: If a woman’s work and rest are often irregular and her mental stress is too great, it may lead to disorders of the endocrine system and irregular menstruation, resulting in low menstrual flow for a month with an IUD.
2. Effect of birth control ring: If the birth control ring is levonorgestrel intrauterine system, the release of hormones will cause low menstrual flow. If other birth control rings are chosen, low menstrual flow will not usually occur.
3. Pregnancy: If the time of the IUD is after pregnancy, then by the influence of pregnancy, the menstrual flow will be very small.
It may be a normal phenomenon to have a low menstrual flow in a month with the IUD, and it is recommended to go to the hospital for a complete examination to exclude pregnancy and other causes.
