What kind of disease is anal fissure?

Anal fissures are also known as anal fissures, also known as hemorrhoidal fissures. It has been discussed extensively in Chinese medical literature throughout the ages. For example, “Surgery Dacheng” says: “There are hemorrhoids inside and outside the anus, fractures, stools like sheep dung, bleeding after feces, obscene odor, and great pain.” This is obviously a reference to anal fissures. Anal fissure is a common anal canal disorder, accounting for the third most common anorectal disease. It is characterized by a chronic proneural ulcer with periodic severe pain. 85% to 95% of anal fissures occur in the posterior part of the anal canal and a few in the anterior part. The fissure is characterized by spasm of the anal sphincter, pain and blood in the stool, and the fissure does not heal for a long time and gradually evolves into a deeper chronic ulcer. The age of onset of anal fissures is 20 to 30 years old, less in children and elderly people, and more in women than men. The causes of anal fissures are related to the following factors: 1. trauma: damage to the skin of the anal canal caused by dry, hard stool 2. Infection and spasm of the internal anal sphincter: due to chronic stimulation of the anal canal area, the anal sphincter is in spasm, and the elasticity of the anal canal skin and mucosal muscle layer is weakened and the tension is increased, causing the anal canal skin to tear easily. Anal fissure is characterized by three main symptoms: pain, constipation and bleeding. Anal fissure pain is the main symptom of anal fissure, and bleeding from anal fissures can occur from time to time. Most patients with anal fissures have a history of constipation, and the dry and hard stool aggravates the dilatation of the anal canal and tears the ulcer, thus causing severe pain. The difference between anal fissure and internal hemorrhoid bleeding is that the former has obvious pain in the anus after the stool, while the latter generally bleeds without pain; the former bleeds mostly in small amounts presenting blood on the stool paper, while the latter bleeds in obvious drops mostly. In Chinese medicine, the treatment of early simple anal fissures is very much focused on non-surgical treatments, mainly internal medicine, fumigation, kudu, and acupuncture. However, for old, deep ulcerated sores or those with unremarkable results from non-surgical treatment, surgical treatment can be used. For early simple anal fissure can be treated by itself, after the stool 40 ℃ warm water sitz bath for 10 minutes, then use Ma Yinglong hemorrhoid cream externally, but apply into the anal fissure wound on the anus once a day, adhere to the medicine for about half a month, usually must keep the stool smooth and soft, avoid eating spicy wine, etc., if repeated symptoms appear bad, it is recommended to go to a specialist examination, it may be old anal fissure or anal other diseases. For old anal fissures, surgery is necessary, or outpatient closed injection anal dilation therapy.
