Itching of the vulva in girls

Itching of the vulva in girls is often clinically caused by the following two factors: first, itching due to inflammation of the vagina, irritation of the vulva after discharge of secretions, often accompanied by increased vaginal discharge and yellowish color, and scratch marks on the vulva with localized redness and swelling. Secondly, itching due to dermatitis of the vulva, small red papules or scratches due to itching can be seen on the vulva, and the symptoms will soon be relieved by alternating erythromycin ointment and mometasone cream. In the case of vaginal inflammation in young women, the clinical treatment is then given according to the results of laboratory tests.
