Herbal remedies for regulating phlegm-dampness include Er Chen Tang and Ping Qi San.
Er Chen Tang is composed of Pinellia, Tangerine Red, Poria, and Radix et Rhizoma Glycyrrhizae, etc. It has the effects of drying dampness and resolving phlegm (expelling dampness by drying dampness and dissolving phlegm), regulating qi and harmonizing the middle (regulating the qi of the spleen and stomach, so as to make the functions of the spleen and stomach smooth).
It is used for treating cough and phlegm due to dampness-phlegm syndrome, white color and easy to swallow, nausea and vomiting, chest and diaphragm constriction, heavy limbs (limb weakness and sinking), or head dizziness and palpitation, with white or greasy tongue coating and slippery pulse.
Flat Stomach Powder: composed of Atractylodes macrocephala, Atractylodes macrocephala, Pericarpium Citri Reticulatae and Glycyrrhiza Uralensis, it has the efficacy of drying dampness and transporting the spleen, moving qi and harmonizing the stomach. It is used for treating distension and fullness in the epigastrium (abdomen) caused by dampness stagnation in the spleen and stomach (stagnation of dampness in the spleen and stomach), lack of appetite for food, belching (belching), acid swallowing (swallowing of acid in the stomach upward to the oropharynx), nausea and vomiting, blandness of the mouth, heaviness of the limbs, lethargy and sleeplessness, white and greasy tongue coating and thick, and slow pulse.
The contraindications and adverse reactions of the above formulae are not clear. If you have a phlegm-damp body, you should go to the hospital in time and do not take the medicine on your own to avoid delaying your condition.
