Maxillary sinus cyst ct presentation

Maxillary sinus cysts are common clinical conditions, most of which do not cause subjective discomfort, and are usually discovered incidentally when CT or MRI is performed for symptoms such as dizziness and headache. The CT manifestation of maxillary sinus cysts generally has the following characteristics: unilateral or bilateral can develop; even in the same maxillary sinus cavity, it can be single or multiple; it is located in the anterior and inferior wall of the maxillary sinus or the lateral wall; the periosteum is complete, the boundaries are clear, and the surface is curved and convex, with cystic shadows, and the CT value is between the bone and the gas, with varying sizes; it doesn’t shift with the change of position; the structure of the surrounding bone wall is normal; and the surrounding bone wall is normal. ; the surrounding bony wall structure is normal and the maxillary sinus opening is patent.
