What are the stages of cirrhosis?

Cirrhosis usually has two phases: compensated phase and decompensated phase. 1. Compensated stage: most of the symptoms in the compensated stage are atypical, which are mainly manifestations of the digestive system, such as epigastric discomfort, abdominal distension, anorexia, acid reflux, hiccups, and other digestive dysfunctions, or an increase in the frequency of bowel movements. 2. Loss of compensation stage: the most typical clinical manifestations of loss of compensation stage are abdominal effusion, pleural effusion, hypoproteinemia or severe edema of both lower limbs, etc. Jaundice, recurrent or persistent low-grade fever, emaciation, bleeding from varicose veins of the digestive tract and so on will also occur. If cirrhosis occurs, it is recommended that patients actively seek medical treatment and under the guidance of professional doctors for relevant examinations and treatments.
