The four suture points are extra meridian qi points. How to take the point: Tilt the palm and stretch the fingers, take the point at the first joint of the 2nd to 5th fingers.
The four suture points have the effects of eliminating food and resolving accumulation, expelling phlegm and resolving drinking. It can be used to treat diseases such as noma, whooping cough, diarrhea, ascariasis, etc., which are manifested by weak spleen and stomach that cannot be transported and transformed, and can be treated by puncturing the corresponding part to bleed or squeezing out a small amount of yellow transparent mucus.
It is often combined with points such as Zhongkou, Zhangmen, Spleen Yu, Stomach Yu, Shusanli and Gongsun to eliminate food and build up the spleen, so as to treat chancre of the weak spleen and stomach type; or with Neiguan and Hegu to dispel phlegm and stop coughing to treat whooping cough.
