What are the principles of staging and treatment of atrioventricular block?

AV block is categorized into first, second, and third degree AV block, of which second degree AV block is further categorized into type I and type II. The principle of treatment is generally asymptomatic without treatment, symptomatic with hemodynamic changes pacemaker treatment. 1. Electrocardiogram of each type of atrioventricular block: one degree of atrioventricular block with prolongation of PR interval>0.12 seconds; two degrees of type I with gradual prolongation of PR interval until shedding of QRS wave; two degrees of type II with fixed PR interval and no QRS wave behind part of the P wave; three degrees of atrioventricular separation, with irrelevance of the P wave to the QRS wave and with a constant PP interval and a constant RR interval. 2. Specific treatment principles: one degree and two degrees of type I ventricular rate is not too slow, no special treatment; two degrees of type II and three degrees of ventricular rate is obviously slow, accompanied by hemodynamic disorders and even loss of consciousness to be treated with a pacemaker, if there is no cardiac pacing conditions, can be temporarily applied to atropine or isoproterenol to increase the heart rate of the block, in order to strive for the earliest possible pacing treatment. Atrioventricular block should be treated in hospitals and standardized under the guidance of doctors.
