  Fetal movement is the body movement of the fetus, which can be detected by ultrasound examination after 18 weeks of gestation. For women who are pregnant for the first time, they can usually feel fetal movement only at 20 weeks of gestation, and menstruating mothers may feel fetal movement earlier than primiparous mothers.
