Montelukast is used for the treatment of acute and chronic diarrhea in adults and children, and as an adjunct to the treatment of painful symptoms associated with esophageal, gastric and duodenal diseases. The ingredients of montmorillonite are derived from pure natural minerals, which are highly safe and have mild side effects, and are highly respected in the treatment of intestinal diseases. Montmorillonite is a silica-aluminate whose main component is octahedral montmorillonite particles with a powder size of 1 to 3 μm, which can inhibit various gastrointestinal viruses and germs and the toxins they produce, and has a strong covering ability for the gastrointestinal mucosa and can maintain it for as long as 6 h. It also improves the defense function of the mucosal barrier by interacting with mucus glycoproteins, and is a common drug for clinical intestinal diseases. It should be noted that in the treatment of acute diarrhea with montelukast, care should be taken to correct dehydration. If you need to take other medications, it is recommended to take them at intervals with montelukast. Overdose of montelukast can easily lead to constipation, especially when taken by children.
