The average days of menstruation

Period is a colloquial term for the menstrual period, which usually lasts from 3-7 days. Menstruation is a special physiological cycle for women, which refers to the periodic shedding and bleeding of the endometrium that accompanies the periodic ovulation of the ovaries and is one of the signs of maturity of the reproductive system, usually occurring around 12-50 years of age. Some women may experience lower abdominal and lumbosacral discomfort during menstruation. A woman’s menstrual cycle varies from 21-35 days, usually around 28 days, and usually lasts 3-7 days. The 14th day from the onset of menstruation is the ovulation period, when 1-2 eggs are expelled from the ovaries and used for conception. Women are advised to relax, avoid straining and pay attention to nutrition during menstruation. Also, pay attention to menstrual hygiene, change sanitary napkins regularly and keep the vulva clean and dry.
