Esophagogastric fundal varices can be treated by medication, endoscopic ligation and surgery.
1. Drug treatment: esophagogastric fundal varices can be treated with nifedipine etc. to reduce portal hypertension, combined with octapeptide derivative octreotide, pantoprazole, sodium carisoprodol etc. to reduce variceal blood flow and achieve the purpose of treating bleeding. If it causes anemia, ferrous sulfate tablets can be given to correct anemia.
2. Endoscopic treatment: mild to moderate esophagogastric fundic variceal rupture bleeding can do endoscopy, find the bleeding site, tissue glue injection, ligation hemostasis treatment. If there are obvious red signs, endoscopic treatment can be given to prevent bleeding.
3. Surgical treatment: if the esophagogastric fundal varices bleed repeatedly or bleed more, surgical treatments such as transjugular intrahepatic portal vein stent shunt and peripancreatic vascular dissection are feasible.
It is recommended to seek medical treatment as early as possible to avoid delaying the condition of esophagogastric fundal varices.
