Chest tightness in the middle of the night

Patients with chest tightness in the middle of the night are highly considered to be suffering from resting angina pectoris and are advised to have their heart rate and blood pressure measured promptly. If the heart rate and blood pressure cannot be measured, you can take sublingual heart pills or compound salvia drops to relieve or stop this discomfort. If blood pressure can be measured and is clearly not low, it is recommended that the patient take sublingual nitroglycerin, which will be more effective. For patients with frequent angina pectoris, or patients with previously diagnosed coronary artery disease, this is highly considered to be an episode of resting angina pectoris, and the patient is advised to go to the hospital for a coronary CT or angiography if necessary to determine whether there is severe stenosis of the heart vessels. If the patient is young and no previous organic heart lesion has been diagnosed, it cannot be ruled out that the condition is caused by cardiac neuropathy.
