Does it matter if a woman has lymph nodes in her armpits?

The normal human body has more lymph nodes in the armpit, and lymph nodes are lumps formed as a result of inflammation of the lymph nodes or other triggers. Whether a woman’s axillary lymph nodes are important needs to be judged on a case-by-case basis, such as no lumps, inflammation, pain and other symptoms do not matter, such as the emergence of redness, swelling, pain and other symptoms, should promptly seek medical attention for specific treatment. Common lymph node lumps in the armpit are divided into two cases: 1, benign lumps: commonly caused by inflammation, infection, reaction to hyperplasia, abnormal cell metabolism lumps, such as acute lymphadenitis caused by inflammation, a short period of time will be accompanied by redness, swelling, fever, pain and other symptoms. It is usually treated with local heat, antibiotics, and anti-inflammatory drugs, such as penicillin and cephalosporins. This condition is not serious, has a good prognosis and does not affect the patient’s quality of life and survival period after cure. 2. Malignant mass: Most of them are lymph nodes without obvious pain and hard texture, with unclear borders and poor mobility, commonly caused by lymph node masses due to metastasis of malignant tumors, such as lymphoma, breast cancer, thyroid cancer, lung cancer and so on. Such symptoms are more serious and require detailed examination to confirm the diagnosis, such as mammogram, ultrasound and MRI, etc. Once diagnosed, active treatment is required to avoid affecting the prognosis. Therefore, if a woman’s axillary lymph nodes are mild, she can continue to observe them or take oral anti-inflammatory drugs as prescribed by the doctor after consultation; if the enlargement is obvious and lasts for a long time, she should consult a doctor in time to avoid aggravation. Pay attention to healthy diet in daily life, eat more fruits and vegetables to improve immunity. Take more rest and do not overexert yourself.
