How to test for percussion pain in the kidney area

The correct way to perform a renal zone percussion pain test is to place the left hand flat on the renal zone and tap the left hand with the right hand. If there is painful percussion in the renal zone, it is called positive renal zone percussion pain. When doing the renal percussion pain test, the location of the renal area should be clarified. The renal area is the area on both sides of the back spine where the 12th rib intersects, and this area is also the projection area of the kidneys in the back, therefore, it is called the renal area. However, it should be emphasized that even if the kidney zone is found to be positive for percussion pain, it can only indicate that the kidney is suffering from some diseases, such as those mentioned above, but it is not specific, i.e., it cannot confirm which specific disease is being diagnosed. In order to clarify the specific disease, we need to improve the urine routine, urinary ultrasound or CT, urine culture and look for tuberculosis bacilli in the urine and other related tests.
