Jaundice 17.4 without blue light?

Jaundice of 17.4 mg/dL is treated with blue light. The standard values for blue light irradiation treatment are: total bilirubin greater than or equal to 9mg/dL within 24 hours after delivery; total bilirubin greater than or equal to 12mg/dL within 48 hours after delivery; total bilirubin greater than or equal to 15mg/dL within 72 hours after delivery; and bilirubin greater than or equal to 17mg/dL more than 72 hours after delivery. Blue light irradiation is a commonly used method to reduce bilirubin levels by converting unbound bilirubin into water-soluble substances through a certain wavelength of light, which can be eliminated from the body through bile or urine. Parents should keep a close eye on their child’s mental and physical condition, and seek immediate medical attention if there is any abnormality.
