What Nephrotic Syndrome Fears Most

There is no such thing as what nephrotic syndrome is most afraid of. However, patients with nephrotic syndrome may have adverse effects if they use medication casually and delay treatment. Nephrotic syndrome is a clinical syndrome consisting of a group of glomerular diseases with similar clinical manifestations but different etiologic and pathological changes.
1. Casual use of drugs: the treatment plan and drugs used in nephrotic syndrome must strictly follow the doctor’s instructions, and if it involves drug adjustment, it is also necessary to listen to the doctor’s guidance after a detailed diagnosis of the patient’s condition. Patients should not use drugs indiscriminately, especially some drugs with nephrotoxicity, which may lead to continuous aggravation of the condition.
2. Delayed treatment: Nephrotic syndrome cannot be cured by itself, if the treatment is delayed, it may not only cause proteinuria, hypoproteinemia, edema, hyperlipidemia and other symptoms to worsen, but also serious infection, thromboembolism, acute renal injury, protein metabolism disorders and other complications, and in serious cases, it may even be life-threatening.
Through active and regular treatment, most of nephrotic syndrome has a good prognosis, so it is recommended that patients with nephrotic syndrome actively cooperate with doctors.
