Painless abortion procedure time

The surgical operation of a painless abortion takes about 10 minutes, plus anesthesia, which usually takes about 30 minutes. Abortion is a commonly used surgical method to terminate pregnancy. Women with regular menstrual cycles should have an abortion around the 7th week of pregnancy, when the operation causes less damage to the endometrium of the uterus. Compared to regular abortion, painless abortion requires operation under anesthesia, which can reduce the patient’s pain, but the total treatment time is slightly longer, usually no more than 30 minutes. An ultrasound examination is required before surgical treatment to clarify the location of the embryo. In addition, patients who are able to do so can choose visual abortion, which is less invasive and has a higher success rate. Since multiple abortions can lead to thinning of the uterine lining and even infertility in women, women without fertility requirements are advised to take effective contraceptive measures and avoid abortion as much as possible.
