Treatment of multiple uterine fibroids

If the fibroids are small and multiple, but do not affect the discharge of menstrual blood, no special treatment is needed for the time being, but follow-up ultrasound is sufficient. This is because the fibroids grow in different locations and are multiple. If the fibroids grow significantly, they may affect the contraction of the uterus and increase the size of the uterine cavity, which may affect the discharge of menstrual blood and cause an increase in menstrual flow and prolong the menstrual period, and may even lead to anemia. Therefore, if the myoma is diagnosed to be more than 5 centimeters in size and causes increased menstrual flow and prolonged menstrual periods, laparoscopic or transvaginal surgery should be considered to remove the myoma. After the fibroids are removed, the contraction of the uterus will return to normal and the size of the uterine cavity will be reduced, so that menstruation will resume normally and will be cleared in about seven days. However, for small multiple fibroids, since they do not affect the contraction of the uterus and do not increase the volume of the uterine cavity at this time, they do not have any effect on the menstrual blood, so there is no need for surgery, but rather follow-up follow-up ultrasound is sufficient. To avoid the enlargement of small fibroids, you can also consider eating less soy foods and royal jelly.
