The three-point positioning double eyelid, or what we often call small incision double eyelid. It is one of the surgical methods of double eyelid surgery, which has the characteristics of small damage, quick recovery and high public acceptance, so it is loved by young people who are usually busy with work and find it difficult to find time for plastic surgery. The natural curvature and height of the eyelids are designed before the three-point eyelid surgery, and three small incisions are made on the eyelids through which the excess sagging fat is removed from the orbits, and then sutures are made to form several dotted adhesions between the skin and the lid plate at the incision site. The post-operative swelling of the eyelids is less traumatic than the full incision method, and most of the swelling usually subsides in about 2-4 weeks after surgery, and it takes about 3 months for the tissue to stabilize. Usually permanent double eyelids can be formed through the three-point double eyelid surgery, but later on the double eyelid line may not be obvious or even disappear due to other reasons such as sagging skin, which may need to be repaired. However, this surgery is not suitable for older patients with loose skin, because patients need to remove part of the skin, and the three-point surgical method cannot remove the skin, so they need to choose the full-cut method to achieve the treatment purpose.
